"This event had everyone strike conversations with people they'd otherwise likely never interact with, about topics rarely touched on even with people we already know. It felt like a taste of the world pre social media, back when true connections were made face to face rather than through a screen. I left feeling nostalgic for a life I'd never experienced myself, a feeling I think will carry into future social situations."
